I met my friend, Jaci, and her two little guys at Ashley Okland Star Playground at Ewing Park. It was a very large playground area with lots of things to keep the kids interested!

A few drawbacks included: lack of shade for adults and rather poor visibility once the kids got into the equipment. It was so busy and I was hot – so that could also influence my experience, haha! It was still a fun visit and great to get out of my park comfort zone!

And because I’m crazy, we stopped for ice cream on the way home to check off park #11 – Principal Park! There wasn’t a game going on, but Ben enjoyed the giant baseballs and running around the amazingly landscaped area.
